North Trent Critical Care Course

The South Yorkshire & Bassetlaw Critical Care Education Collaboration (formerly known as North Trent), in collaboration with Sheffield Hallam University, provides a programme of specialist critical care education which provides 60 academic credits. This can provide a partial award at degree level or a postgraduate certificate.

Criteria for applying: To be eligible for either module you need to have completed National Step 1 Competencies and have a minimum of 12 months critical care experience. At post graduate level you would need a first degree and would be interviewed to establish whether you are eligible for study at this level. If you are interested in applying and work within SYBCCN please contact your unit clinical educator to discuss this further.
