Transfer Forum

The South Yorkshire & Bassetlaw Critical Care Network Transfer Forum has recently been established. The forum is chaired by Dr Emma Temple, Consultant in Neuroanaesthesia and Neuro Critical Care at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and is made up of doctors, nurses and OPDs with an interest in transfer medicine.

Forum Chair Biography
Emma is a consultant in Neuroanaesthesia and Critical Care at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals (STH). Following graduation from Cambridge University in 2007, Emma completed fellowships in Critical Care at Liverpool Hospital, Sydney (Australia) and Neuroanaesthesia at STH. Emma also has an interest in Transfer Medicine and has recently accepted the chair of the South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw Critical Care Network Transfer Forum. She is also looking forward to starting a Masters degree in Healthcare Ethics and Law at the University of Manchester in September.
Emma enjoys adventure racing and is a keen triathlete at Ironman distance, however she is currently enjoying a little down time during maternity leave following the birth of her little boy, Arlo, in July.
